This robot vacuum is a smart and sleek design that can clean under low spaces for cleaning where another vacuum cannot reach. This vacuum can do easily under the bed, dining chairs, some medium height sofa, and TV tables to clean debris.
Benefits
The R500+ sucks most of everything from cereal to hair, there are also few features that we found that are not included in the R500+ description. It has a large dustpan and HEPA filter that catch lint on the filter. It has auto adjusting cleaning head and two large wheels move effortlessly from hard floor to carpets to get the mess that makes it moves effortlessly over the threshold.
The Coredy R500+ have multiple modes as per need that includes an auto mode for general cleaning, edge mode that sweeping along with corners of the wall, spot mode for stubborn dirt, and max mode for intensive cleaning whenever needed and max mode also efficient for carpet area. it has all new Coredy re-engineered anti-collision technology that has improved 12 infrared sensors helps R500+ to avoid bumping into obstacles to protect robot vacuum and furniture, walls, and other household items from scratches and mark. it has drop sensing technology that upgraded anti-drop technology prevent the robot from the falling down from stairs and off of edges. It has 2.7” super slim design glides under and around beds, sofas and other hard-to-reach areas to cover all available ground for thoroughly clean.
The Coredy R500+ have convenient access control that uses a remote control to manually control the robot vacuum cleaning path, select cleaning modes to preset a vacuuming time. the robot vacuum automatically returns to charging base to recharge when in low power, ensuring it’s always charged and ready to clean. the remote has a home button that also command robot vacuum returns to dock.
The Coredy R500+ has additional features over the Coredy R500 that has worry-free cleaning that engineered with dual-hall sensors can detect boundary strips to keep R500+ robotic vacuum in the rooms you want cleaning, only cleans the areas you want (Boundary Strips sold separately)
Complaints
As per we mentioned on above Coredy R500+ robot vacuum benefits, this product is very satisfied with most of the customer. However, any product has some concerns that have explained below.
R500+ have 360-degree infrared sensors. However, it does not detect some low width and heightens pipe by its sensor which hit very fast to that pipe scratch more to robot vacuum. however, in this case, push sensor still work. R500+ does not work to heavy traffic carpet. it does not suck deep dust.
R500+ does not move effortlessly from hard floor to the carpet on a corner of the rug. it flips rug a lot from edges and stuck for several minutes. Another competitor has cellphone application to manage robot vacuum application that allows users to check all activity of vacuum, However, Coredy R500+ does not have any cellphone application yet to manage it.
R500+ have a remote control that use to change different mode, return to the dock. However, we have face problem that If R500+ is cleaning in another room then we cannot access remote control because it is using an infrared sensor that requires to point vacuum. We need to stand up and look for a vacuum to operate a remote control.
Suggestion / Enhancement
After we try this Robot vacuum, we think that Coredy has to create an application to manage robot vacuum function like changing cleaning mode, cleaning schedule, return to dock function. This will help users to operate vacuum without pointing on it and manage anywhere in the house. Applications should also help a user to check which area is cleaned and rest of need to clean to complete purpose of robot vacuum.
Nowadays, most of the famous vacuums can manage via voice control device like Amazon Echo or Google Home device that helps users to give commands from anywhere that gives a user more flexibility to use any features.
The Older version of the Coredy R500 had mop feature with a vacuum that has been removed in new R500+ vacuum. It should have an additional feature of Mop in their new product line up.
Conclusion
The Coredy R500+ have few problems as mentioned above. However, this robot vacuum is working good for cleaning house for busy schedule. it is worth to try it for its good battery life and automated return to dock station in this price.
